ATLANTA (Mar 14, 2018) – Red Bull and Soccer in the Streets today announced the Red Bull Neymar Jr’s Five Tournament, a global five-a-side tournament bringing players from all areas of the world together to celebrate their shared passion: soccer. The Atlanta qualifiers, to be held on Saturday, March 24th at Silverbacks Park, will feature players from a variety of backgrounds battling to win a berth to the US Finals in Miami, FL. The winner at nationals will ultimately earn a berth for the global tournament hosted in Brazil later this year.

Neymar Jr’s Five is a fast, technical and fun competition played in more than 50 countries. This year’s tournament is open to teams of five to seven players aged 18 to 25, with two players over 25 allowed in each squad. The tournament also includes both male and female divisions, with each local winning team getting a trip to Miami for the US Finals on June 9th, all expenses paid.
As a preview to the Atlanta qualifiers, Soccer in the Streets will be hosting FREE Pre-Qualifiers at Station Soccer - Five Points, with the winners earning a free entry berth into the local qualifiers on March 24th.
